Theres another snow storm coming my way starting today and everyone here is worried the power might go off again. Fortunately I got most of my emergency supplies. I didn’t get the emergency blankets or the lanterns but I got everything else. The other day I had to test out my emergency phone when our cable connection was messed up and I’ve got everything in a duffel bag ready to be used. I needed to buy some recharable batteries for the flashlight/radio/cell phone charger but realized that my cordless phone has 4 recharable batteries in the right size so I don’t have to buy any. My task today is to cook up the chicken I have in the frig just in case the power does go off we’ll have that already cooked but unlike before I have the pop-up stove too. I also have firewood for our outdoor firepit I’ll have to take pictures of. We made it by stacking bricks and using a square grill rack. So I can cook outside if I need too but we could also cook inside if the power goes out.
