After transplanting them the next day they looked so withered up, I was wondering if I had made a mistake. This weather has been very difficult for me to figure out. Its May its like 70-80 during the day, and 50-60 at night. But its raining consistantly and then there’s still frost too. I watered them and then it rained and it stilled looked horrible the next morning. I checked on them yesterday, and most of them had lost their leaves while I few had green leaves. I watered them again and then we had a rain storm. I looked out this morning and they look wonderful. There’s hope for them yet.
All the kale/lettuce/collards look good too. I took all the tomatoes/pepper plants and put them on the porch so they can get some sun and rain throughout the day. I’m hoping to plant them within the next week and a half or something. I haven’t seen anyone having planted out their garden so I’m a little confused. With the weather from last year as my only basis, it should give me only two months to grow anything before it gets cold again in August like it did last year. That’s a very short growing season, very short. But, we’ll see what happens…
