Neighbor’s gave me a Food Dehydrator and Saving Seeds

Omg, I have had a Food Dehydrator on my list of things to get for years and every time I would forget about it or could not afford it. But my neighbor’s found one at the thrift store and gave it to me and I dehydrated four trays of tomatoes the other day. Today I have four more trays with three trays of ripened tomatoes and a tray of Cubanelles, jalapenos, and green peppersĀ  all from the garden.

I also am saving the Jalapeno seeds, these are mini’s and they are EXTREMELY hot and I am a person that can handle hot. I used to have a hot sauce collection and would put two or three drops of Dave’s Insanity Sauce in a bowl when the label clearly states to use one or two drops in a POT of chili. But these peppers caught me by surprise. So, i’m drying them and also the cubanelles. I hope to have a bigger better garden next year though this one is still going strong.

I hope evr

I found your blog searching “frugal” and “vegetarian”–your posts are fabulous and totally resonate with the daughter of a single mom who spends a good chunk of her day, everyday, gardening. I LOVE dehydrating. Let’s be blog friends!!
