Tethering the tomatoes

I just used about 7 ‘bed post turned tomato stakes’, two of which I had to stake outside of the raised bed into the ground because the tomatoes had flopped over and so I lifted them off the ground or rather I made an entrance for the rabbits to hide out in-lol. But for now I have a temporary hold on everything.

I noticed that the collards are ready for a second cutting, which I have no room for, I may donate this upcoming cutting until we have room in either of our freezers. But, I did notice that the Kale, which belongs to a friend whom I’m growing it for, is ready. So she came and picked it all up. Its a small bunch enough for a one person meal. image

I still have peaches that I was given today to slice up, they’re cooling now from being blanched. image

I have my first eggplant to use, two squashes, 2 green tomatoes and 2 red. image

Fortunately, I have a new food dehydrator so now I can have two running at the same time. Its a small one but it will do the job.
