Invitation to My New Blog!

I decided that not only did I want to blog about gardening but that I needed to make a change and do something good so I started a community action blog called, Good Shephard Gardens. The purpose is to grow something to help feed the Needy. This does not require money, it requires time. You can either plant a row, give your excess, plant an entire garden, donate your time to a community garden, ask your local government to approve empty land for community gardens. You decide how much you want to do but whatever you do, you are helping to provide fresh vegetables to people who may not have a grocery store in their community or may be unable to afford fresh vegetables and only see vegetables in a can or as pizza sauce.
